We’re committed to ensuring today’s youth develop into self-sustaining individuals by helping them attain their high school diploma and post-secondary training.

The correlation between education and quality of life is undeniable. Youth who do not complete high school face a lifetime of challenges, often including poverty, limited employment opportunity and poor earning ability, among others. Based on the needs of today’s employers, a high school education is often inadequate preparation for most careers and jobs.

Through our grantmaking, we are helping today’s youth get the necessary education and training required to enter the 21st century workforce. We will achieve the goal by supporting organizations and projects that:

  • Develop and support highly effective teachers for every classroom, who have the skills and resources necessary to effectively engage every student in the learning process;
  • Provide enhanced, extended learning opportunities that complement traditional classroom instruction; and
  • Increase the availability of post-secondary education and training in Tulsa through partnerships with Tulsa Community College, Tulsa Technology Center and the University of Oklahoma, for the purpose of producing individuals prepared to enter the local workforce as professionals in their respective areas.
