We’re committed to breaking the cycle of abuse so that each child in our community is brought up in a nurturing, supportive environment.

The cycle of child abuse and neglect threatens Oklahoma’s future. Poor children, low birth-weight infants, infants born prematurely and children with disabilities or developmental delays are at high risk for abuse from their caregivers. Half of all young victims suffer delay in their development or serious physical or emotional impairments.  School performance suffers, and when victims of child abuse or neglect reach adulthood, they are likely to become abusers themselves.

Our goal is provide all of our children with a safe environment in which they have the opportunity to flourish and develop into healthy, unique individuals. We will achieve this goal by supporting organizations or projects that:

• Develop wide-ranging solutions for child abuse and neglect;
• Directly reduce the number of children affected by abuse or neglect; and
• Provide safe, supportive environments for children and families affected by abuse or neglect.
